Steele Street - Physical Description 1
Steele Street displays a broad range of pre dominantly Victorian and Post-Federation cottages and houses. They consist mostly of single fronted, double fronted semi-detached and row houses in timber, brick and render. They are all single storey (second storey additions not taken into account).

The consistency and uniqueness of the various architectural styles emphasise the strong and picturesque character of the precinct. The predominant Victorian and post Federation architectural styles display a remarkable richness and variety of details, features and materials.
