HOUSE - Physical Description 1
The house at 225 Glenlyon Road, East Brunswick is an unusual double fronted timber bungalow with walls clad entirely in dark brown shingles. The shingles do not appear to be timber and are possibly clay. The deep half-gabled terracotta tiled roof also has the same shingles cladding the gable end. Chimneys are unpainted stucco with rendered caps and terracotta chimney pots. The front door had side and highlights and is flanked by bow windows with casement windows and leadlight highlights. The verandah has very good examples of carved timber brackets to the posts.
