Wesleyan Methodist Parsonage (former) - Physical Description 1
The former Weslyan Methodist Parsonage at 512 Sydney Road Coburg is a large single storey Victorian bi-chrome brick villa with a hipped slate roof and a corrugated iron roofed return verandah. The villa has two main facades, to Sydney Road and to Urquhart Street. Features include: bi-chrome brick chimneys with unpainted rendered caps and bases; a bay to Urquhart Street, termintaing the verandah; slender cast iron columns supporting an elaborate decorative cast iron lace valance to the verandah; double hung sash windows; and paired brackets under the eave line.
