Statement of Significance
This large bluestone shearing shed is the last substantial building remaining of the Rockbank pastoral run which was held, at various times, by such notable pioneers as W C Yuille and W J T Clarke.
The shed was designed by the architectural firm of Reed and Barnes and was built in 1864 whilst the property was in the hands of W J T Clarke.

Alsoclassified isthe cistern nearby, the complex of buildings between the woolshed and the creek, consisting of shearers' quarters, boundary riders' quarters, manager's house, cook house, stables, and ruins of a hut south of the stables on the bank of the creek, and to the causeway across Kororoit Creek.
