Outstanding example of species
This is a single occurence of the species growing at the edge of the Leigh River in association with Hymenanthera dentata (Tree Violet) and Eucalyptus pauciflora (Snow Gum). Banksia marginata is found from northern NSW, southwards into Victoria and South Australia, and Tasmania.
