Outstanding example of species
An outstanding specimen of this species. The tree has reached an outstanding size and has an attractive, well-shaped canopy. Although common in cultivation in Europe, few trees have reached any size in Victoria. The only other notable plantings occur near the entrance to the Alfred Nicholas Gardens in Kallista. The tree has a well developed branch structure and is the largest European Beech known in Victoria
It is located north-west of croquet lawn.
