What is significant?
The dwelling, constructed c.1900, at 28 Radovick Street, Korumburra
Why is it significant?
The dwelling at 28 Radovick Street is of local historic and aesthetic interest to the town of Korumburra.
Historically, it is important as locally rare surviving examples of dwellings built for the workforce associated with the mining operations that were highly significant in the early development and growth of Korumburra.
Aesthetically, it is typical example of small workers cottages and are also important as one of a number of individually significant dwellings that enhance the streetscape of Radovick Street, which is predominantly comprised of housing from the pre-WW2 period.

HOUSE - Physical Description 1
The house at Radovick Street is an asymmetrical Edwardian timber cottage. It has a hip roof with a separate skillion front verandah at one side of a projecting gable. There is a brick and rendered chimney with a terracotta pot. The front picket fence is sympathetic, but not original.
