The postwar dwelling at 62 Ogilvy Street is of local aesthetic significance to the town of Leongatha as a large and superior example of a postwar residence. The setting is enhanced by the two mature Canary Island Palms.

HOUSE & CANARY ISLAND PALMS - Physical Description 1
The dwelling at the corner of Ogilvy and MacDonald Streets is a double storey post war brick residence with a hip tile roof. There is a pair of mature Canary Island Palms in the front garden, which probably pre-date the existing residence.
