LONG GULLY ALLUVIAL WORKINGS - History
The Long Gully alluvial diggings were opened in 1858 and had two puddling machines in the early years, neither of which appear to have survived. The relatively-intact diggings extend for over 400m north-south in a band up to 60m wide.LONG GULLY ALLUVIAL WORKINGS - Interpretation of Site

Long band of alluvial sinkings about 400 metres; no surviving puddling machines.
