Statement of Significance
The house at 123 Main Street, Great Western, is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. It is associated with residential developments in Great Western in the early 20th century and demonstrates some important design qualities. These qualities include the gable roof form, horizontal weatherboard wall cladding, skillion verandah, galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding, and the timber framed windows. The front boundary hedge also contributes to the streetscape.
