Statement of Significance
This place retains many of the attributes of a characteristic place of its age and style. Further historical research and detailed site inspection may indicate that the place be considered for upgrading to local significance. Support for retention of the place should be given where possible. The property consists of two small timber weatherboard clad, gable roofed cottages that may have been moved in or constructed by the Brown family in the early part of the twentieth century. The Brown family were connected with the property in the 1920s. The properties have been used as holiday houses in the twentieth century. Both buildings have been subjected to alterations through the years but retain their roof form and cladding materials and the rear house retains a stone fireplace.
