A.N. Wood & Co., Newall Street, MARNOO - Physical Description 1
The A.N. Wood and Co. building in Newall Street, Marnoo, is set on the front boundary of the site. The single storey, early 20th century, A.N. Wood and Co. building is characterised by a simple gable roof form with lapped galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding. The side walls also have early horizontally-aligned galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding, although the gable end has early strapped cement sheeting, with later vertically-aligned corrugated sheeting below. The timber framed doorway and small blocked up opening at the front appear to be early, as does the timber framed double hung windows at the side.
The projecting rectangular front facade with doorway appears to have been introduced.
