Bandiana Army Chapel - Physical Description 1
The chapel is basically a timber framed gable-roofed building sitting on stumps. At one end it has an added entrance porch and an access ramp. At the other end there is a small annex, probably a chaplain's robing room. The gable roof has cgi cladding, with a Christian cross added at one end. The walls have bullnose weatherboard cladding in the lower half and flat-sheet cladding in the upper half (like store/office building No.379). These were probably asbestos cement sheets originally, but have probably been changed to non-asbestos fibre-cement sheets during the recent renovation. Not inspected internally.

Bandiana Army Chapel - Veterans Description for Public
The Bandiana Army Chapel, on Anderson Road, resembles a timber framed gable-roofed building sitting on stumps. At one end it has an added entrance porch and an access ramp. At the other end there is a small annex, probably a chaplain's robing room. The gable roof has cgi cladding, with a Christian cross added at one end. The walls have bullnose weatherboard cladding in the lower half and flat-sheet cladding in the upper half.
The Bandiana Army Chapel is a standard Second World War era army building, but has been heavily modified to convert it into a chapel. It has also been relocated from North Bandiana to South Bandiana, and was extensively renovated between 1999-2001. A plaque near the entrance to the building identifies it as the 'Holy Trinity Garrison Chapel, re-opened on 15th May 2002 by Colonel G.R. Banister A.M.' The plaque also acknowledges various trade groups that worked on the renovation.
