Statement of Significance
Located in Leckie Park, the Alexander War Cenotaph is a memorial wall of granite blocks with bronze plaques to commemorate the fallen from the Second World War. It is characterised by a metal plaque and in the centre a Bas-relief sculpture of service men and women, guns and tanks. The Alexandra Cenotaph is situated along side the First World War statue.

Alexandra WWII Cenotaph - Veterans Description for Public
Located in Leckie Park, the Alexander War Cenotaph is a memorial wall of granite blocks with bronze plaques to commemorate the fallen of the Second World War. It is characterised by a Bas-relief sculpture of service men and women, guns and tanks. On each side of the wall the names of those who served are listed on bronze plaques. The Alexandra Cenotaph is situated along side the First World War statue.
