Balmoral War Memorial - Physical Description 1
The memorial is a grey granite obelisk on a granite base surrounded by a steel rail fence with granite posts. On the west-side is a metal flagpole painted red, white and blue in front of a rose garden and wall.

Balmoral War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Balmoral War Memorial, located at the intersection of Coleraine Road and Bell Street, takes the traditional form of a granite obelisk on a base surrounded by a steel rail fence with granite posts. The east face has an insignia of Australian Commonwealth Military Forces and says, "Erected by the residents of Balmoral and District. In loving memory of our soldiers who gave their lives in the World War 1914 - 1918 for God and country". The metal plaque on the section below reads, "In memory of King George V 1910 - 1936". The granite tablet attached to the base reads, "Lest we forget 1939 - 45" and lists the names of 24 fallen soldiers. Other names of those who served in the Second World War have been added as plaques on the east side.
