Cobram and District War Memorial - Physical Description 1
Cobram and District War Memorial
The memorial is a polished black granite monolith on a red granite base on a podium paved with grey granite blocks. There are red granite steps on three sides. On the north-west side of the podium are two flagpoles.

There are two Lone Pine memorials in the gardens surrounding the memorial, one on the south side and one on the north. Each has a plaque.

The Cobram and District War Memorial is located on Punt Road and William Street, outside Cobram Civic Centre. The memorial comprises of a polished black granite monolith on a red granite base on a podium paved with grey granite blocks. There are red granite steps on three sides. On the north-west side of the podium are two flagpoles. The west face reads, "Cobram And District War Memorial Dedicated To The Memory Of Those Who Gave Themselves In War That We Might Live In Peace And Freedom 'Lest We Forget.'"
