Numurkah War Memorial - Physical Description 1
The memorial is a grey granite obelisk on a 3-stepped granite base and is topped by a marble statue of Victory. In front of the monument and at its base is a white marble statue of a World War I soldier holding a bronze rifle in the arms reversed position. The statue is supported by a representation of a rock.

Numurkah War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Numurkah War Memorial, located on Tocumwal Road and Saxton Street, commemorates both the First and Second World War. The memorial consists of a grey granite obelisk on a 3-stepped granite base and is topped by a marble statue of Victory. In front of the monument and at its base is a white marble statue of a First World War soldier holding a bronze rifle in the arms reversed position. On the South face of the monument, above a list of soldiers' names, the plaque reads:
"Erected By The Residents Of
Numurkah And District
To The Memory Of Those
Who Paid The Supreme Sacrifice
And In Honour Of
Those Who Served In The
Great War 1914 - 1919"
"Deep Graved
In Every British Heart
O Never Let
Their Names Depart."
On the East face, above a list of Soldiers' names, is a plaque for the Second World War:
