Harrow WWII Memorial Seats - Veterans Description for Public
The Harrow WWII Memorial Seats are located on the Main Street, near the Memorial Obelisk. The first seat was donated by the Harrow Branch of the Country Women's Association in memory of Private Eric Walker, who died of illness during the Second World War. The second seat was also donated by the Harrow Country Women's Association, in memory of R.A.F. Squadron 612 F/O John Joseph Minogue. Minogue was killed over the English Channel on 23rd May 1944.
