Veterans Description for Public
Noble Park RSL Commemorative Park - Veterans Description for Public
The Noble Park RSL Commemorative Park, at the junction of Mons Parade and Heatherton Road, was opened by the Governor of Victoria Richard E. McGarvie on 26th November 1995. The centrepiece of the park is a paved flagstaff and rough cut stone, with a dedication that reads:
"To the memory of all men and women who served their countries in all wars. And to those that did not return they will never know the beauty of this country, see the seasons change, enjoy nature's chorus, all we enjoy we owe to them. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn, at the going down of the sun, an in the morning, we will remember them."
