Northcote Anzac Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Northcote Anzac Memorial is located on Separation Street behind Northcote Plaza. The memorial site comprises of a rough-cut stone monument and plaque, a contemporary sculpture featuring a slouch hat and a bronze sculpture of the H.M.A.S Berrima. The Berrima was one of the ships to take part in Australia's first Naval Conflict against the Germans in 1914. The site was opened on 7th April 2002 in honour of all servicemen and servicewomen who gave their lives for Australia.
