Pleasant Creek War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Pleasant Creek War Memorial is located on a private property known as "Anthony's Paddock", at the junction of Western Highway and Hall's Gap Road. The memorial was originally erected on the site of Treasury in Commercial Street on July 19th 1919. It comprises of a rough sandstone cairn on a three tiered base and features a marble plaque dedicating it as a peace memorial.
