Port Welshpool WWI Memorial Garden - Veterans Description for Public
Inside the grounds of the local Port Welshpool museum is a memorial garden. The garden features a small shelter and two marble tablets dedicated tothe fallen of the First World War; William Bruce Smith who died of wounds on the Western Front 10th October 1917, aged 28 years old and A.R. Rackstraw killed in action at Gallipoli on 25th May 1915, aged 23 years old.
