Stained Glass Window at Ballarat Rubicon Street Methodist Church - Memorial Window Description & History
The Rubicon Street Methodist Church unveiled three memorials to soldiers on the same day, Sunday 11 May 1919. One window to the young men of the church who had fallen in the Great War was unveiled by Major Baird, MLA, while the Mayor of the City of Ballarat, Councillor TT Hollway, performed the unveiling of the window to all those men of the church who served King and country in the Great War; the Rev. W.H. Harris unveiled an Honour Roll that contained the names of all who served.
