Stained Glass Window at Northcote High Street Methodist Church - Memorial Window Description & History
The Melbourne Argus reported the re-opening of the renovated Methodist Church, Northcote and the placement of a memorial window to those men who fought and died in the First World War 'in time for the anniversary'. The window was to be unveiled by Senator 'Pompey' Elliott during a service conducted by the Reverend WH Holtham on Sunday 29 November 1925. Members of the Returned Soldiers' and Fathers' Association and the mayor and councillors of Northcote were expected to be present at the service.
