Fifty three Anglicans from the Bealiba district enlisted and all were remembered for their war service on a blackwood Honour Roll, presented by Mr. J.W. Pennington, MLA In March 1920. Archdeacon James of Maryborough, dedicated a porch at St. David's, which commemorated the declaration of peace and to mark the 50th Jubilee of the church. On the same day the Archdeacon unveiled a new stained glass window, the gift of the Girls' Friendly Society, which was placed in the church in memory of the men of the parish who volunteered for war service.
