Statement of Significance
The Moreton Bay Fig is significant for aesthetic, historic and scientific reasons at State level. It is an outstanding tree for its large height at 27 metres, one of the tallest trees in the Camperdown area. This Moreton Bay Fig provides an outstanding example of the species. This tree makes a contribution to the landscape, forming part of the historic Gnotuk garden. It is one of the oldest trees planted on the site.
