STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
The former SS1911 Moolap Primary School is a small weatherboard rural school built in 1877, with a fair degree of integrity.
It is of historic and social significance to the local Moolap community.
The former Moolap Primary School is one of the few remaining community sites serving an agricultural area of small farmers. It has had a significant role in the educational history of the community as well as being the location for numerous social gatherings. It is still in use by the community.
It is of LOCAL cultural significance.

Moolap Primary School - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
Site A steeply pitched, corrugated iron new, gable roof weatherboard building. The east elevation gable end has a vent , a plain bargeboard and an entry door on the left. There are three multipane double hung windows with top lights and a window hood with a corrugated iron roof and decorative timber brackets on the east gable end. On the north elevation are three multipane double hung windows and an addition on the NW corner. There is a large cypress tree in the yard. The significant architectural features are the original roof form, the original doors, windows and hood and the other prominent contributing elevations.
