Statement of Significance
The Iron Bark at 6 Styles Court, Wonga Park is significant for its age, size and aesthetic value. It is of regional significance for being the only known remnant Iron Bark in the district, and the only known one south of the Yarra River.

History: Remnant Iron Bark predating European settlement and thought to be around 300 years old. This tree is on the southern extremity of the species natural range, and is said to be the only one of the species on this side of the south side of the Yarra.
