Statement of Significance
The site contains three individual universal or 'Bren Gun' carriers of WW II heritage that have been used as targets within the firing range by the Army. The vehicles retain some heritage significance due to their obvious connection to the training range and are also part of Australia's Second World War heritage.

POINT NEPEAN UNIVERSAL CARRIERS - History
The vehicles are in one of the ranges used by the Officer Cadet School which operated between 1951 and 1986. However, it was used as a firing range as far back as World War II.POINT NEPEAN UNIVERSAL CARRIERS - Interpretation of Site
The vehicles had been used as targets by the army for training purposes and were abandoned once the site was no longer used.
