How is it significant?
The cypress row (Cupressus macrocarpa), Glenroy Road, between Logan Street and Cardinal Rd, Glenroy is of local historical significance to the City of Moreland.
Why is it significant?
Of historic significance, as a remnant planting from the early twentieth century, reflecting the agricultural past of Glenroy and possibly for its association with the Wiseman family, co-founders of Glenroy, and developers in the area. (AHC Criteria A.4 & H.1)

Cypress Row - Physical Description 1
A significant row of mature Monterey Cypress (Cupressus macrocarpa) extending along Glenroy Road in two distinct sections.
The trees are approximately 18 metres high with 20-22 metre diameter canopies. Typical of this species, they are multi-trunked. The trees have been pruned to cater for overhead cables, but retain much of their overall form and are in reasonable condition.Cypress Row - Physical Conditions
