Statement of Significance
A two-manual organ of 11 stops built in 1922 by the noted Adelaide organbuilder J E Dodd for St Barnabas' Anglican Church, Montague Street, Montague, South Melbourne, and moved to its present location in 1968. This was one of the last mechanical action instruments to be built in Australia before the revival of the craft in the 1960's.
