Statement of Significance
A single-manual organ built by William Anderson, of Flinders Lane, Melbourne and opened in the Baptist Church, Fenwick Street, Geelong in 1877. Later moved to the Methodist Church, Union Street, Brunswick circa 1922, the instrument was installed in its present location in 1960. This is a rare and substantially intact early example of Anderson's work, including a metal Gedact stop thought to be unique amongst its builder's work.
