Outstanding size
A fine specimen, is part of the ornamental planting in the well-known Buchan Caves Reserve. Hugh Linacre prepared a planting plan for this site in 1929 and it is possible that this tree, along with the Lombardy Poplars, form part of this plan.
The native range of this species normally from the Daly River in NT through Queensland and to eastern NSW
This tree is located near the playground beyond the kiosk, beside the main drive.
