A tree which occurs in a unique location or context and so provides a contribution to the landscape.
Rare or Localised:
A tree of a species or variety that is rare or of very localised distribution.
This species is rare in cultivation in Victoria and is known at Beechworth, Traralgon Cemetery, Royal Botanic Gardens, and Beckett Park Camberwell. This tree is the largest specimen recorded.Its large spreading crown is outstanding and the tree is a dominant featurein the landscape.The tree has suffered storm damage and has a broken branch in the upper crown and minor deadwood.
The tree is now removed.
