Outstanding size
A dominant tree, located on the south side of the sound shell, on the site of the former nursery established by Francis Moss in 1888. Many of the exotic plantings within the park were established from seeds and cuttings from Msss's earlier nursery in Buninyong as well as imports from all over the world. The Park was acquiredby the Shire of Woorayl in 1945 and opened to the public
The tree was removed 12/01/2010 due to collapse from root system failure.
