BOUNDARY HOTEL SITE - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: This hotel does not appear on early maps and is not listed in any of the gazetteers consulted. It is mentioned in Maltby (1989), but with no dates. The bricks and the masonry suggest a date in the late nineteenth century. It is mentioned in the Mining Surveyor's Report of December 1864. It is possible that it operated during the 1860s to the 1880s when the mines in the near vicinity, such as the Central Company and the Cambrian Company, were active.Heritage Inventory Description
