YANKEE POINT ALLUVIAL GOLD WORKINGS - Heritage Inventory Description
An area of alluvial gold working along Back Creek, Taradale. There are many small excavations and spoil heaps across the flats and up the sides of the valley.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Moderate archaeological significance. The workings along Back Creek were important in the early development of the Taradale goldfields.
