SiteCard data copied on 04/07/2024: The site has a pair of parallel concrete winding engine beds, each 14-1/2 x 3-1/4ft and 6ft high, with protruding 1-inch diameter mounting bolts. Between the two beds, at their southern end, is a smaller concrete bed, 2-3/4ft square, 3-3/4ft high. East of the beds is a concrete boiler setting, with walls 4-3/4ft apart, 3ft thick and 22-1/2ft long. Near the north corner of the boiler setting is an 8-1/4ft square brick chimney base, standing 7ft high. The chimney base has arched flue-ports on its north, west and south sides. These entrances are 1-1/2ft wide and at least 2ft deep. Circular brickwork on top of the base indicates that the chimney was round. The bricks are handmade and set in concrete mortar. 30m south of the winding engine beds is a 13ft-square concrete shaft-collar. Associated with the shaft site is one visible concrete 5ft-square poppet-leg pad. The site still retains its mullock heap.
