CONCORD MINE SITE - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: One of a large number of mines in the Reserve. The precise location of the shaft is not known as they are all filled in.

CONCORD MINE SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
Site consists of a very large mullock dump (now quarried and mostly removed), a levelled working area, drystone retaining walls, some water races/channels, a dam, various shaft sites, 2 brick scatters.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Site is a contributing element to the Diamond Hill Historic Reserve. Probably of local significance only.

Heritage Inventory Site Features: The large remnant pile of mullock and the stone retained levelled working area and the dam and water races are the most important elements. Former mullock dump, large pile of mullock, tracks, levelled area, shafts, brick scatters, stone retaing walls, large pepper tree, dam.
