BOTT 1 - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site:
The history of this site is largely unknown. The original structure, associated with scatter, is assumed to be at least 50 years old. The trough, tank and windmill have been more recently used and an inscription dated 1960 on the trough indicate date of construction
BOTT 1 - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: This site is probably the remains of a building associated with farming activity prior to purchase of the land by the RAAF. The area of scatter is completely level. The tank, trough and windmill are more recent structures / used up until recent times. However, the fallen windmill and tank suggest greater antiquity.

BOTT 1 - Heritage Inventory Description
This site is a scatter of bricks, ceramic and glass sherds, located on open grassed/grazing area. The site is disturbed and cultural material exposed by burrowing animals. A number of structures on or near the scatter may also be older than 50 years./n
Heritage Inventory Significance: Very low significance
Heritage Inventory Key Components: These include a corrugated iron tank and the wooden structures on which it stood and a fallen windmill.
