BOTT 2 - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site:
The history of this site is largely unknown, however, the original structure is assumed to be at least 50 years old. A Department of Land and survey Map (1954) indicates it may have been constructed by Bott. The site was probably levelled some time after the land was gazetted by the Commonwealth after 1954.
BOTT 2 - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: This site may represent the remains of a building or structure associated with farming activity prior to the purchase of the land by the RAAF. The area of the scatter is completely levelled especially for a single old fence post.

BOTT 2 - Heritage Inventory Description
This site is a scatter of brick and glass sherds located on open grassed area at the western end of a low sandy ridge. The site is disturbed by burrowing animals. This has exposed some of the cultural material. A single old fence post is located within the site./n

Heritage Inventory Key Components: Heritage Inventory Site Features: An old fence post is located in the southern portion of the site.
