BONN SCHOOL ROAD HOUSE SITE - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: Hand-made brick hearth and cistern are the earliest features of the site. Glass and ceramics support a late 19th century date. The timber house (now destroyed) and the standing chimney were later.

BONN SCHOOL ROAD HOUSE SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
Former house site, marked by standing chimney and a possible earlier hearth of hand-made brick. The house structure has been destroyed by fire. There are some concrete paths and a circular brick cistern with domed top. The site is planted with peppercorn and eucalypt trees. To the east, across the drive, is a dump of historic artefacts that has been bulldozed.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Recorded historic house sites relecting land selection in the 1870s-1880s are rare in this area.
