largely unknown, presumably used for log loading in the very early 20thC (at the turn of the centry).EC-7 LOG LOADING SIDING - Interpretation of Site
Logs presumably loaded from here onto train from local sawmills. Now disused but railway still operational as a tourist attraction.

No apparent archaeolgical significance, however such sites are seemingly rare.

Related to its association with the "Puffing Billy" Railway line, which has been in operation since the turn of the 20th C.
