TYAAK ALLUVIAL MINING AREA - Heritage Inventory Description
The site is on the Reedy Creek flats and consists of a water race leading to the remains of what was possibly a large dam and two hut sites. The first is marked by a flat area, 4 x 8 metres, and a pile of stones at the rear of the excavated area, possibly a chimney. Another pile of stones is located closer to the creek.
