DINDI SAWMILL - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: The Dindi Mill was built by Fred Corkhill and Sam Hansen circa 1920 and was temporarily closed after the 1926 fire. The Dindi Mill was rebuilt to the most modern standards in 1936, achieving a daily production of 10 000 superfeet and employing a workforce of up to 40 at this time.Heritage Inventory Description
DINDI SAWMILL - Heritage Inventory Description
A picnic area at this site contains a number of features from sawmilling operation - bed logs, sawdust pit, sawdust heap, bench building sites and scattered iron artefacts.
