MUNROS' MILL (WESTERN) - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: Munro & Sons established the mill on this site in 1920. It was worked by a number of contractors until 1936 when it was sold to H. Kirchhubel and moved to Moondarra.Heritage Inventory Description
MUNROS' MILL (WESTERN) - Heritage Inventory Description
A large flat cleared area covered by blackberries with a low sawdust heap. Tramway is a walking track between the Munro Mills. Tramway leading away from the mill site towards Tyers Junction has steel rails still in place on a gentle curve across a slight depression about 150m from the sawdust heap.
