Statement of Significance
The former stables, 56-58 McMahon Street, St Arnaud is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. It is associated with commercial developments in St Arnaud in the 19th century and demonstrates some important design qualities. These qualities include the skillion roof form, face brick wall cladding, galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding, and the timber framed windows.
