CHINESE GARDENS ELDORADO - History
A search of the Parish and geological plans and general historical texts regarding Wodonga has not revealed further information regarding the history of this site. However, as with other goldfields, it is highly probable that Chinese miners established market gardens near working mines.
Google Aerials suggest that the land around the original co-ordinates and described location, continues to be part of the Chiltern Mt. Pilot Multi-Purpose Park
It is also mentioned in the El Dorado Heritage Pamphlet as being to the east of the town of El Dorado.Heritage Inventory Description
