SUNNY LODGE - History
Date of construction is unknown. Area was a popular holiday and day trip area during the 19th Century. Health and holiday retreats were built across the area, Sunny Lodge is said to be one of these. Demolished in 1920's when Corranderrk system was built.SUNNY LODGE - Interpretation of Site
SIte of former buildings associated with 19th century lodge which functioned as a retreat of sanatorium. There were health retreats and sanatoriums located in the area in the mid-late 19th Century.

Ruins, remains,artefact scatters, (eramics and glass) and European paintings and trees from former 19th Century sanatorium/lodge. Near Sunny Lodge basin 1-1.5km west of lodge.
