SHALLOW ALLUVIAL SINKINGS, DERWENT JACKS GULLY - Heritage Inventory Description
Shallow alluvial sinkings and remains of sluicing along both sides of a gully that runs into and joins Derwent Jacks Gully. These sinkings are quite intense although not well defined. The wash has been sluiced away leaving two deep eroded gullies. This area of sinkings extends over a distance of 500 metres is approximately 200 m wide and can be seen easily from the road.
